He has specialized in sound engineering for news reports.

In the Eighties and Nineties he documented the wars in Afghanistan, Ulster, Congo, Ethiopia, Somalia, Iran, Bosnia, Croatia.

From 1990 to 1995 he was the sound engineer and organizer for Samarcanda, the weekly TV magazine by RAI 3 directed by Michele Santoro.

In 1995 he founded Road Television, of which he is a partner.
